For individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following lawful bases as defined under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR: (i) to perform our contractual obligations with your employer; (ii) to fulfill our legitimate interests in providing, securing, and improving our services; or (iii) with your consent where required.
4. Disclosure of Information. Lecticon shares personal information only when necessary to deliver services. We may disclose your data to your employer for compliance tracking and reporting, to third-party service providers who support our platform (such as cloud hosting and analytics providers), and to legal or regulatory authorities when required by law. These third parties are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and in accordance with this Policy.
5. International Data Transfers. Our services are based in the United States. If you are located outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in jurisdictions that may not offer the same level of data protection as your home country. By using our services, you consent to this transfer and processing of your information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.
6. Data Retention. Lecticon retains personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to comply with our contractual obligations to your employer and to meet legal requirements. Once data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
7. Data Security. We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. These measures include encryption in transit and at rest, secure access controls, regular security testing, and third-party audits.
8. Your Rights and Choices. Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, as well as to restrict or object to its processing. You may also have the right to data portability or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
